The rest injection mold elements as below. Core back plate. It holds the core insert in place and acts as a "stiffener". It is usually made of mild steel. Guide pillar and guide bush. The guide pillar and guide bush align the fixed and moving halves of a mold in each cycle. The material cases are usually made of medium carbon steel and will have higher hardness. Ejector guide pillar and guide bush. These components ensure the alignment of the ejector assembly so that the ejector pins are not damaged. They are usually made of CHMCS.     Plastic parts is widely used in many industries, so plastic injection mold is very important for plastic parts production, how to design perfect injection mold? In the fact, there are many design considerations in injection mold designing, so we will share some details as below.   Draft: Required in both the core and cavity for easy ejection of the finished component Shrinkage allowance: Depends on shrinkage property of material core and cavity size Cooling circuit: In order to reduce the cycle time, water circulates through holes drilled in both the core and cavity plates. Ejection gap: The gap between the ejector plate face and core back plate face should hold dimension within the core. It must allow component to be fully removed from the mold. Air vents: Removes gases entrapped between core and cavity (usually less than 0.05 mm gap), because excessive gaps can result in flash defects. Mold polishing: The core, cavity, runner and sprue should have good surface finish and should be polished along material flow direction. Silicone Rubber Compression Molding

PTMS started to produce high quality silicone mold and silicone rubber compression molding to the worldwide customers since 2010, we invested a silicone molding production line for silicone rubber parts processing as customers’ need, all the mold makers have much experience in silicone mold making, they knew how to control the cost to produce high quality silicone rubber compression molding.


Machines


We have some advanced machines for silicone rubber compression mold making and silicone rubber compression molding, such as high speed CNC, EDM, Wire Cutting, Grinder, silicone molding machines from 50-100ton. The workers have 5-10 years experience in operating machines, it is one important aspect to make high quality silicone rubber mold and silicone rubber molding parts.


Silicone rubber compression mold


silicone compression moldOur silicone rubber mold makers have much experience in silicone rubber mold making. We can make single cavity and muti cavity based on customers’ request, the steel of core and cavity is imported from German and Japan, its include P20, 2311, H13, 2344, 236, AdC3, S136, 2312, 2379, 2316, 2083, etc. The mold base include HASCO standard, European standard, World standard. The mold base materials we used are LKM, HASCO, DME, etc. The surface finish as Texture and high gloss polishing.


Silicone mold making is according to drawings, such as 3D drawings with igs, stp, x_t format, 2D drawings with DWG, DXF, PDF or JPG format. If you do not have 3D drawings, please offer 2D drawing with estimated part weight, but if you do not have 2D drawings, please send us the samples for check, we will make silicone mold design as the samples and then start to make silicone rubber compression mold. The mold will be packed by wooden box before delivery, shipped by sea or air, we will delivery it as customers’ request.


The silicone mold designer will have a meeting and discuss with the mold makers about production every days, they will solve some questions in mold making, project manager also give some valuable comments to the mold maker. We keep in touch with customers during mold making and discuss some problems with them, we also send customers CPP (CRITICAL PATH PLANNING) to show mold making plan progress and actual progress and trial samples and try-out report to customer for testing. We will modify the die-casting mold if samples not accepted, but normally our first testing samples are excellent.


Silicone rubber compression molding


silicone molding machineWe have some advantage silicone molding machines and experience people in production line, so they can control quality and the cost, the materials we often used is silicone rubber, we just purchase the materials from the reliable material suppliers who can provide ROSH, SGS and CE report, so we can make sure high quality silicone rubber materials.


We can make various silicone rubber compression molding parts, such as silicone keypad, silicone automotive key case, silicone rubber bottle sleeves, silicone bottle cap, silicone sealing gasket, silicone phone holder, rubber cover and etc. We can also make the second operation for silicone rubber molding parts, such as silk-screen printing, painting, laser etching, UV finishing and PU finishing. The silicone parts will be packed by pp bag in carton and than delivery by sea or air, anyway, we will pack the silicone parts as customers’ need.


The advantages of Silicone compression tooling:


1. The short lead time for the compression mold manufacturing, normally it is less than 15 days, but sometimes we can make out the molds within 5-8 days.

2. The single cavity silicone mold cost is about 2% cost of the injection mold for rubber molding and 10% cost of the mass production compression mold cost.

3. It is easier to make the rubber product undercut with compression molding.

4. It is easier to have the over molding and insert molding.

5. It has the various color rubber parts manufacturing without additional charge.
